3D Printing Temperature Guide
Select your filament to get nozzle and bed temperature starting points, tips, and troubleshooting for common issues.
Nozzle temperature
210°C
Range: 190-220°C
Bed temperature
55°C
Range: 0-60°C
💡Start at 210°C and lower by 5°C if you see stringing
💡Bed temp 55-60°C improves first-layer adhesion even on textured PEI
💡PLA is sensitive to drafts - avoid fans blowing directly on the printer
Common issues - PLA
Stringing
Lower nozzle temp by 5°C and check retraction
Poor bed adhesion
Increase bed temp to 60°C, ensure level, use glue stick
Layer separation
Increase nozzle temp by 5°C or reduce print speed
Warping
Increase bed temp, add brim, avoid drafts
